A truly unbelievable hotel,can not believe the Horizon Village resort is only 4*,I have stayed in 5 star hotels that don't even come close to this resort & the service(and the price..Wow...I payed £28 a night for a deluxe room over looking a lake).I booked with 3 friends for 3 nights and stayed 8 as we had to get back to Bangkok but could of stayed 3 weeks and some if time had allowed.There is so much to do here,mini zoo,boating lake,amazing vast gardens & lakes just to name a few.Will Defiantly...

The property is small and boutique like (just 14 rooms), very nice and top quality. The staff are what makes the property so nice. Yumi, the manageress could not do enough for us, but also all the other staff too were so nice and welcoming. Breakfast almost seemed like having your own personal chef. I’ve been to Thailand a few times and the Empress Hotel has to the best hotel I’ve stayed in for service. When I arrived I received a voucher for a free drink and a welcome gift as well as being upgraded and in my room fresh fruit, the staff were just excellent very polite, friendly and helpful, good choice of food at breakfast time, the pool area was good as was my room(1501) If I do come back to Chiang Mai again I will definitely stay at the Empress Hotel

We had hired a car and drove from the airport and had no problems parking at the hotel. The Lanna style of the hotel gives a unique feel and a pleasant hideaway from the outside. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. There was a good choice of food option in the restaurant and it appeared to cater for many different tastes. The Spa Cenvaree was excellent and worth booking for one of their treatments, we booked in a couple of time during our 2 weeks stay. Within a 5-minute walking...
