Hotel is a minute walk from exit 5 Kitahama station, the main station to reach Umeda is Yodoyabashi which is a 12 minute walk, or you can negotiate transfers on different subway lines to get to Kitahama ( but sometimes you would end up walking same distance).
Room size generous by Japan standards. We stayed in a corner deluxe triple room, our adult daughter was travelling with us. Enough size for 3 adults with 3 large suitcases. One single bed and two small double beds( or 2 very large singles!) Mattress a bit firmer than we are used to but perfectly ok and we slept well. Air conditioned. Had fridge and room safe and kettle. A single wardrobe only, ( a bit of struggle as we stayed 10 nights, but there is a separate hanging rail in the room also which was useful ). An extra drawer would have been handy as only one provided. We used the washing machine, TV in room tells you how many are available, dotted on different floors.
Bathroom is absolutely amazing, best shower ever used, toiletries provided ( shampoo, conditioner and bodywash in large bottles). Heated toilet seat, with usual wash functions in a Toto toilet ( already missing the toilet and shower!).
Bottles of water provided in reception area. Helpful, friendly staff.
Breakfast okay, same choice every day, rather limited (potato salad and pasta salad nice, but not what I think of as breakfast). Lovely Italian and Chinese restaurant at end of road. 7-11 store right opposite. Great stay, definitely recommend.

This location was good but the rooms are extremely small. Breakfast was nice but very expensive. WiFi was sporadic. Bed was comfortable. Room was relatively clean although the carpet could use a nice cleaning. The woman at the concierge desk was extremely helpful and the breakfast staff were kind and always friendly and helpful. No safe in the room.
