"staff was outstanding."

"We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Rooms are super nice and modern and very clean. Bed and pillows were super comfy. The breakfast was good. The pool area was an added bonus. It was just a shame the bar was not open for drinks. They did have a phone service but it took time to receive drinks. But overall I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"Perfect location"

"The property was gorgeous and in a great central location. Their breakfast was superior and the rooms were very tidy and spacious. We would stay there again."

"Basic but clean rooms and breakfast had a great variety of fruit"

"Great location, basically close to everything. Beautiful hotel, amazing breakfast and good customer service!"

"Older hotel but in a great location in Funchal. Walkable area, shopping mall with grocery store within 2 minutes walking distance. Lots of restaurants nearby. The rooftop pool was well maintained although we didn’t have time to use it, the rooftop views were great. The breakfast buffet was good, although repetitive as all hotel breakfasts are. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Madeira."

"Great location and great facilities.Lovely helpful staff."

"The rooms were large and the balcony had a nice sea view. The amenities are tired and can be refreshed or renovated. The staff were excellent and very helpful."

"Roomy and great location next to a beatiful tropical garden park. Unfortunately the air conditioning was weak and sleeping was tough."

"Sehr schöner Aufenthalt mit super Lage, Parkplatz und Pool."
