"The corridors smell of dirty carpets and our rooms aircon was not working. They didn't offer any compensation or change of rooms, just brought a fan. Otherwise just an average business hotel."

"Presently surprised at the quality of fixtures and fittings- towels, bedding, decoration, soaps and all the little extras. Huge room, very comfortable bed. Was supplied with a small fan due to the heat wave which was welcomed if you stood infront of it but didn't really reach everywhere. Quite room so we slept extremely well. Excellent breakfast and service . Staff very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to booking again for a long weekend. Didn't give 5 stars for all categories as entrance...

"Our arrival was admittedly very late - 2.30am. TV in our room did not work at all. The 24 hr Receptionist could not communicate so unable to help about the TV. Breakfast was self service Toast/Strawberry Jam and Cereals. Staff hardly any spoke English.We had to leave very early so no experience of whether the Bar was open or not. Very poor quality hotel so will not ever stay there again."

"On check in the gentleman was cheerful and helpful. Explained night porter service, bar and food times and where n when breakfast was with no prompts. Bar staff were cheerful and amenable. Parking was easy and plentiful. Hotel guest parking is free. Had an evening meal which was good. Bar runs a happy hour. Breakfast is continental and cooked. Cooked breakfast is prepared to order and arrived hot and perfectly cooked 5*"

"Great hotel 8 miles outside of Cambridge. 12 minutes from the Park and Ride, if you are intending to visit Cambridge. Nice room with good sound proofing and aircon. Even the windows open. Overall we had a great 2 night stay."

"Loved the west facing balcony overlooking the river on our room. Room decor was very contemporary and stylish. Bathroom lovely and spotlessly clean. Staff so friendly."

"Magnificent grounds, the approach on driving towards the Hall is stunning. It's a beautiful historic building with a very pleasant bar with lovely outdoor seating overlooking the grounds open until 10pm. Staff were polite, friendly and attentive. The breakfast was amazing. Lovely full cooked options and lots of fresh fruit with greek yoghurt and pastries etc .. The room and ensuite bathroom was simple but very pleasant and the bed comfortable. "Booked 2 rooms 8 months ago for a one night stay due to going to an event early on Sunday morning 19th July 2026. Arrived at reception to check in to be told that they only had one room and that the booking system had allowed over bookings which we were told is quite common ?? A very poor apology from reception so they told us to go over the road to the holiday inn and just give the surname in and they would have a room for the second party. Got to say the staff at the holiday inn were...

"We had a lovely 2 nights at the Eaton Oak, The bedroom very well equipped with quality toiletries included. The bed very comfy, no air con but large fan provided which worked very well. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, with lots of smiles, Ant and Laura exceptional. The food was delicious and hot, spoilt for choice. EV chargers an excellent plus and welcome after a long journey. Will definitely be back."
