"Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room upon arrival had no drapery across the sliding door that looked directly into the bedroom and we needed to chase the staff a couple of times to get it fixed. all else was great and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast !"

"The room was at the top floor with window view of Galata tower in the distance. The restaurant is a gem. Both for the full breakfast as well as dinner. You can see Bosphorus and Hagia Sofia. Quality is great and the hotel is sparkling clean. Location is ideal. 5 minutes away from Galata Bridge and Sultanahmet square. Close enough for Spice and Grand bazaar. Just around the corner you can take T1 tram for Taksim. Highly recommended."

"It was a very unique small scale grand hotel in the historic center of Istanbul.
Beautifully maintained and authentic property. The head concierge Omer was delightful and most accommodating. The staff at the desk and the Bell Captain were polite and gracious.
I would recommend their restaurant on the top level."

"We had a lovely stay. The hotel is in a great location, close to blue mosque, grand bazaar etc. making it easy to get around without taking the tram, although the T1 tram is literally less than 2 minutes walk. Lots of places to eat, so may choices. From the airport, we got the express bus and the T1 tram. 5 stops. The staff were friendly. welcoming and extremely helpful. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable and roomy. Overall, we were very impressed with the service and would happy stay...

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Istanbul! The location was fantastic and made it so easy to explore the city. Our room was spacious, beautifully presented and exceptionally clean, and we were pleasantly surprised to receive an upgrade at check-in.
The entire team was incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble, and their warm hospitality really made a difference.

"Netjes, schoon, fijne bedden en badkamer, vriendelijk personeel, op loopafstand van de bekendste historische bezienswaardigheden. Akoestiek in hotel niet optimaal waardoor je hoort spreken in het trappenhuis, deuren die in het slot vallen. Kan storend zijn voor iemand die heel licht slaapt. In de straat veel restaurantjes."

"Overall a wonderful location and very atmospheric feel to the place c and the building and gardens are lovely and very Turkish and charming. However some easy and obvious improvements would be better lighting inside to make it less gloomy and a feel a little less unwelcoming.
