"My husband and I came here for an overnight stay to celebrate my birthday.
We were greeted by Fiona the receptionist who was so welcoming and very friendly.
She was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble in asking for anything.
We loved our room which was spacious, clean and very cozy!
We both had a good nights sleep too.
We are both vegan and had a lovely vegan breakfast that was hot, fresh and delicious!
Service was friendly and quick too.

"Much better than we expected. Very comfortable and functional room and bathroom. Plenty of space too and loads of parking. The separate pub//restaurant was a fantastic facility and a great base to explore then many things to do around Nottingham. Thanks for a great stay"

"The room didn't have a kettle. Also no plug sockets next to the bed. The room service breakfast that they provided didn't arrive on time and made my day late, the service from the manager was very poor and she was arrogant not worth the money "

"It's such a lovely spot and the room was spacious, super clean and with a view out to the lovely surrounding area. The bed was also very comfy and the pillow too, and this from someone who is princess and the pea with her pillows! I also got a really great rate for my one night stay."
"Great for Peak District, lively pub with atmospheare...well prepared food at reasonanle prices and nice and quiet after 11 or so.... full breakfast with options. Really enjoyed a one nighr stop and would return whrn next out hiking!"
