Very nice beach at the hotel and very friendly and helpful staff. There is not much around, so either have a car or be prepared for limited dining options. Breakfast is not worth the cost.

We enjoyed our stay. Our room was modern and a good size. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. Location good. Opposite beach and sister hotel on beach. Food delicious in the restaurant. Breakfast excellent.

The hotel was set in beautiful gardens. We stayed in the Villa. Clean rooms, great food and outstanding friendly and helpful staff. We totally enjoyed our stay. Hotel though would benefit from putting on a courtesy bus into Olbia as transport is limited. Would definitely return.

Nice stay but not a 4 star hotel

We had a nice stay and in general all was good. But this is not a 4 star hotel. The normal rooms are to small and the balcony are tiny and very close to the neighbors. The exercise room is not even close to the advertised standard. Service was very good , and the breakfast as well. The menu in the restaurant are to small,

Very nice Beach hotel

Wonderful small hotel situated at a nice, white sand beach. Sunbeds and umbrella in the garden was included with the room, which was nice. We spent most days there, but on days with little wind it was a bit hot, and the sunbeds at the beach were more comfortable because of the gentle sea breeze. Hotell staff was very nice and attentive. The main bartender was a star! The hotel restaurant is one of the best in the Olbia area, with a good wine list. Nice amouse bouche before dinner without charge.

Very clean hotel with friendly staff. Lovely restaurant and bar area! Food was amazing and service superb! Lovely beach front location. Reserved area on the beach for hotel guests with sun loungers and umbrella’s at an additional cost. Pool area is very small. More sun loungers on the terrace would be beneficial. Those that were there were reserved for particular rooms. Limited facilities in the area.

30 euro charge for umbrella and chair. This is not disclosed when booking. Hotel is dated. Rooms are disgusting. Staff at breakfast is great. Breakfast could be better. Powdered eggs are terrible.

Adult’s only hotel

From the moment we arrived, which was late, Selma at reception suggested go to the hotel restaurant eat relax & do check in after. She continued throughout our 8 nights to book restaurants taxis & more. The confusion of the sunbeds is, if you are staying in a suite you have the use of sunbeds & umbrellas in the garden & the beach. If you are in the regular rooms there is a daily charge. Simone was extremely professional & helped us with choice of local wine & couldn’t do enough to make our stay fabulous. The team at reception friendly helpful & happy. The beach man was curteous. Well done Pelican Beach Hotel.

Our stay at The Pelican Beach Resort was enjoyable. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. The grounds are small but nice. We appreciated having our own lounge chairs and umbrella in the garden as well as on the beach. The swimming was lovely, very relaxing in both the ocean and in the pool. As for the food, we only ate breakfast there once. It's a nice buffet, but expensive. I guess it's worth it if you're a big eater, but if you just want toast and coffee I wouldn't recommend it. The dinner menu was very expensive so we chose to have dinner elsewhere. The staff are really excellent! Super nice, helpful people at the front desk, staffing the bar, and cleaning the rooms. The downside: we assumed they would have a parking lot and they don't. Your choices are to risk parking on the street, if you can find a spot, or paying to park in their small garage. Also, there are not enough electrical outlets in the room. You can plug in the mini fridge or the TV, but not both at the same time. On the whole, the positives outweighed the negatives by a lot and it's the staff who are the best thing about Pelican Beach.

The food which we consume for lunch and dinner were charged to the room. No bills or confirmation how much the costs. The bills were given when we checked out. It will be better if the bills were acknowledged by us at the restaurant itself. Overall the staffs were very polite and helpful.
