Lovely motel, looks older from the outside but has been refurbished inside and is a very comfortable space. Comfortable bed and good shower. Great kitchen with everything you would need.

Fantastic pristine property, friendly welcoming hosts and walking distance to cafes and bars. Spacious and super comfortable, would definitely stay again. Highly recommend to all travellers.

We managed to get a last minute booking here for Matariki after a cancellation the day before we headed up. We were so pleased to get somewhere in ohakune last minute but more so to end up staying in such a lovely place. Room was lovely, real ski town vibes. In a great spot so close to everything. Staff were lovely and had all the recommendations and answers to everything. Amazing stay- thank you!

Best hotel we've stayed in our past 5 weeks of travel

This place looked brand new! Everything was super clean. Kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed the hot tub right outside our door. Gas grill was immaculate. Would loved to have stayed longer.

When you pull up it doesn’t look very inviting and a bit dated BUT when you enter the apartment you will be blown away! All brand new appliances, beautifully decorated, and spacious!!! Highly recommend.

A gem in Ohakune

This motel was a lovely surprise, didnt look all that much on the outside, but the inside was all new and shiny, very comfortable, well appointed, warm and clean, great service, great room and a stroll to town centre, perfect.

Upon arrival the gentleman behind reception was very welcoming and friendly. Nothing was a problem. The room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. Highly recommended. I would stay there again.

Highly recommend

Fantastic accommodation. The staff are very friendly and the property is newly renovated and beautifully clean. It is walking distance to the town and the river walks. It has everything you need to make life easy, whether eating in or dining out. Cannot rate highly enough.

Beautiful room, beautiful town

What a delightful surprise this place was. It didn't look like much when we pulled in at night, but the inside belies the outside. What a beautiful room! Recently remodeled with very comfortable modern decor, it was positively lovely. The king size bed was so comfortable, it was difficult to get up in the morning. There was everything we needed for a morning beverage to get us jump started. After checking out we went and explored the beautiful little town. What a gem! So green and charming, just lovely. There are plenty of restaurants, (shout out to the Mountain Rocks Cafe where I got the best flat white I've every had), a small, but well stocked grocery store, and we will never forget the carrot park. What a fun place. It is a short drive from Ohakune to Tongariro National Park, where there is so much to see and do. A gorgeous place. If Tongariro is your destination, this motel is a great place to stay. And, as with all of New Zealand, the people in Ohakune are amazing. We wish that we could have spent more than one night there.This was our favorite room of the trip, and we stayed in 8 different places in New Zealand. We will be back for more exploring.

Fantastic stay!

We stayed for one night as a stopover between tongariro National Park and wellington. Our room was fantastic, very obviously newly renovated to a great standard. Really comfy bed, sky TV and kitchenette with all the amenities. Great value for money considering size and standard of the room. The area itself is quiet, with a few restaurants and cafes nearby. Overall a great stay!
