"The male manager on our check out date of 5/14/26 was very helpful and friendly. He happened to be at the front desk when we were checking out and was very pleasant. The lady who helped check us out was also very helpful. She assisted us with storing our luggage after the 11 AM check out time while we ate lunch at a restaurant next door. However, one of the front desk female staff was rude. When we came back in after our lunch to get our luggage, we asked to use the lobby restroom as we had already checked out and her tone was harsh as she told my husband that the restrooms are for guests only (which we were). Her colleague who checked us out was present and overheard the encounter and told her that we were guests and asked her to unlock the lobby restroom for us. She did this begrudgingly with a pout on her face. After she unlocked the men's restroom for my husband and the women's for me, we said thank you but she just walked off without saying anything with the same pout on her face. She may have been dealing with personal stuff that day but really she should have been friendlier and less rude."

"Here’s a cleaner and more professional version of your review while still keeping your honest experience and concerns clear: The hotel is average overall, but considering how expensive hotels in San Diego County can be, I do think this is an affordable option for the price. I found the property to be clean, and while I experienced a couple of issues of safety that had me at edged. The main concern happened during check-in. I had reserved a two-bedroom room, but when I arrived, I was assigned a one-bedroom instead. Once I entered the room, I quickly realized it was already occupied because there were personal belongings in the closet belonging to another guest. That honestly made me very uncomfortable. While I understand mistakes can happen, situations like this are serious because it means someone could accidentally walk into an occupied room. I could have walked in while someone was sleeping or resting, and the same could have happened to me during my stay. After that incident, my experience was fairly average—nothing particularly impressive, but nothing terrible either. I live far away and occasionally need a place to stay because I work near hospitals in San Diego County, so convenience is important for me when choosing a hotel. so I don’t believe I’ll be coming back as safety is a big issue for me."

"Amazing location, beautiful views, kind welcoming"

"Stay was overall good. Hotel is under renovations so parking is super limited and the hallways are super chaotic. Our room was clean and comfortable which is always great. Breakfast was decent, very crowded as the hotel was full but overall not bad. Lots of teens so it was loud all hours of the day and night which I didn’t love. Would stay again though."
