"This was my first time visiting San Diego and this was a great hotel! I was in the area to visit SeaWorld, and it was an easy 10 minute drive from this BW! Check in went smoothly, staff were somewhat friendly, there was plenty of parking, and I got a spot right by the elevator! Did not use the pool or hot tub but it looked nice! I had room 223, a corner room on the second floor, with the entrance tucked away, and while it has exterior doors and my window faced a walkway, I didn't hear any noise from other guests.
I like the layout of the room, you walk in and there's a love seat and table, and then a step down to a table with chairs and the king size bed. Everything worked, plenty of lighting, room looked recently renovated, and overall it was clean, modern, and comfortable!
Breakfast ended at 10am, there was plenty of open tables, eggs and sausage were good, staff always present to refill items, and I loved the yogurt machine with toppings!
Only a few minor issues, like a few hairs on the shower wall, and at night, water was mostly cold in the sink, in morning when showering, water was very hot and initially did not get colder, but then began fluctuating requiring adjustment while showering. I do wish the king bed had 5 pillows instead of 4 but it was very comfortable!
I would definitely stay again, the hotel was a great value, and the room was very nice especially for the price! They also have FREE parking when many other hotels charge in the area!"

We had a family suite that was much much bigger than we expected It’s definitely a more “vintage” Hawai’i feel as in the room had a very dated look, but in clean way.
We loved the pool area with the weekend bar, free arcade, and the music choices were 👌.
