"First off, check-in was weird. The owner told us a power outage a few days ago wiped out his key card machine, so he couldn't give us keys because replacement was still on order, that we'd have to just find him and he'd let us in to our room. Don't really understand how temporarily losing power destroys a machine like that, I hope its legitimately short term but just started off the experience creepy wondering if he's one of those nosy micromanaging owners who wants to spy on everyone etc. The...

"The room was spacious, clean with nice amenities (fireplace) and the bed was super comfortable. They provide coffee in the morning as well as a coffee maker, coffee & add ins in your room. The parking is easy and you’re usually not far from your room"

"The room we were assigned to was at the very end of a building with no patio and a window view of an exit road and a wall. It was clean and the tub shower wasn’t too difficult to get into. The hot tub was undergoing repair and the pool was on the smallish size. The plugins for electronics consisted of one plug on each side of the bed. "The motel was a good location. 5 mins away from Hearst Castle. It looked like it was semi remodeled recently but it was cheaply done as you could see holes/patches. The bed was moderately comfortable not to firm but not as soft as I personally prefer. Bathroom cramped and they didnt have body wash only tiny soap bars that broke apart easily. No one answers the phone so the 3 things I needed help with I had to go out my room and go get myself, was not happy about that. Never got the room cleaned...
