"This was my second time staying at The Latch Inn. It has a lovely setting by the marina. The rooms are very majestic. The staff is very polite and oh so helpful. The breakfast dining room is lovely and the food was perfect. The only thing I would comment on is that there was a slight smell of gas coming from the fireplace in the dining hall which my husband reported to the staff and another guest also reported the smell that had been coming from their fireplace in their suite. "Very accommodating to early check in request. A very cosy little cottage just a tiny bit on the small side. Two suitcases - not a lot of space to have them both open. Very clean, great area - peaceful and beautiful grounds - views were lovely. Would def stay there again if in Victoria. The room was lovely, there was yogurt, cheese and mandarins in the fridge in the room, and muffins were also provided, it was nice to be able to lounge in the room instead of going downstairs. The two-person tub was a bonus as well. Nice, quiet and close to everything."

"A very well enjoyed stay here! The building is brand new and in such a convenient spot near the ferry and airport, plus only about 30 minutes from downtown Victoria. There’s a huge free parking lot too, which already felt like a win before even checking in. From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff were incredibly welcoming. Everyone greeted guests so kindly with warm voices and genuinely friendly energy. It honestly felt like they were happy you were there, which makes such a difference. "

"I had an accident, not on the property, so I spent most of my time in the room only. It fit all my needs. Some updates to bathroom/shower facilities are needed such as grab bars and perhaps walk in showers. These facilities may have been available in other rooms, we did not think to ask. Breakfast was good with a nice selection of choice. We would definitely go there again."

"set in a tranquil, leafy neighborhood, still within easy walking distance of downtown, this exquisitely appointed home was comfortable, immaculately clean, and cozy. really comfortable bed. modest price but has the feel of luxury. it's an old property so there are expected quirks: stairs, small shower. but beautifully decorated and functional. i'd make it a go-to."
