For a hostel style hotel, it is the quietest one I've ever been to, despite the usual noise of folks getting up, talking, existing, etc. As for the pods, if I could change anything, it would be the steps to the top bunk. I was fine with it and it's doable for someone who is more able bodied. However, for those who lack upper body strength and even balance, it would be tricky to get up and down without hurting...
"This is my second time at this resort since before COVID. I loved it then and I love it now after the renovations. The staff are so cool and nice. Front desk gave me a complimentary Honolulu Cookies gift tin for my bday! I also requested my room to be upgraded from partial ocean to full ocean for an additional $150. "We stayed here over Labor Day weekend and had an amazing experience. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and always went out of their way to help. My room was spotless, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything I needed. The location was perfect—close to everything, but still quiet enough to relax. The amenities, especially the pool and dining options, made the stay even better. I couldn’t have asked for a better hotel to enjoy the holiday weekend. We’ll definitely be coming back!"
