Colonial House Motor Inn

"Good stay overall, excellent for the type of accommodation. Useful microwave, functional fridge, decent foam beds, not uncomfortable. A/C good and cool in our room. Had to crouch a bit to get under shower head but functional for more residential style bathroom fixtures. Only issue noted was bare moist post shower feet picked up some floor blackening walking around in the room…. Also typical for this kind of property, there were a LOT of middle aged and older white men on expensive motorbikes in many of the rooms having what I assume is a kinda “Brokebike” gay riding weekend (which is ok) so lots of highway motorbikes revving up and idling in early morning in the spot in front of room window…"

"We enjoyed our stay. Very clean and everything you need. Bathrooms well equipped with grab bars and the shower had a built in seat. Great for seniors! Staff is friendly and helpful."

"Where do we begin! The Upper Rideau bnb is by far one of the best bnb’s we’ve had the pleasure to experience. From the moment we stepped inside and were greeted by Donna we were treated like royalty. The room was immaculate and we had our own ensuite that included a large jacuzzi bath ( which we used to soak our tired muscles from two days of kayaking). The breakfast was a chef’s dream with wonderful baked goodies and daily full hot meals of eggs, bacon, fruit and toast. Absolutely, delicious. Highly recommend this place. Hopefully we will be back again in the near future."
