"The room was filthy, tub toilet sink mirror were dirty. The caretaker Amos didnt come to the door when we called the number on the office door. The TV didnt work. I mean you get what you pay for i guess. It was infested with ants and spiders and smelled like mold. We stayed for 2 days because of weather conditions but when we got out to camp, our campsite was cleaner lol."

"Donna and Keith are the most perfect hosts you could experience. The grounds and rooms were beautiful and immaculate. The house is right on the lake allowing you to have a swim with towels generously provided along with lovely Adirondack chairs for relaxing. Our hosts were always helpful and accommodating. Everything was beyond perfect!! Don’t get me started about the breakfast. It was unbelievable!! Way beyond my expectations. Crepes, omelettes, fresh granola, scones… all freshly prepared...

"As a motorcycle rider of over 35 yrs going into a hotel can cause some anxiety wondering if there will be judgements. In our case there was no judgement and very welcoming staff. Myself and my riding buddy were left in awe of the simple yet thoughtful rag left on our bikes over night to dry our seats. Never have either of us experienced this kind of thoughtfulness. "The staff here are wonderful and always helpful. The property itself is older, so while they are working on updating and maintaining, a lot of it is dated or needing minor repair. For example, there used to be a swimming pool but the previous owner filled it with dirt. The room we were in has a great view of the river and a patio that opens right in front of the dock, which was lovely.
