"We love our stay here. It’s honestly the perfect place to stay in Moorea. The staff were so helpful and lovely. Also, it’s amazing that you can wake up and just jump to do some snorkeling. It was the best snorkeling in the entire island. We saw 3 big turtles, an octopus and so many pretty fish plus the water is so calm. Their pina colada’s were also amazing. We highly recommend this place."

The food and drinks were excellent. Overall this was a wonderful experience and we highly recommend this resort. For location purposes, it’s 5 minutes from the airport but NEVER felt or looked like an airport hotel. It’s about 15 minutes from the cruise port, approximately $30 US dollars via taxi. ...

"We were on a cruise which ended in Papeete. We decided to spend an additional 2 nights in the area and chose Moorea due to proximity by ferry. I researched hotels and chose Hibiscus due to the excellent ratings and price. The hotel exceeded my expectations. I booked a deluxe bungalow by the beach and we had a view of the ocean from our room. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the use of fridge, microwave and hot pot. "I really wanted to give this place high reviews, but unfortunately the great pluses this property has (amazing location right on the water and views) are negated by an overzelous and controling owner. Prepared to be scolded, warned and admonished for many things a paying costumer would not in other stablishments. I.e. do not take the kayak out in the beautiful bay because it could be damaged by the coral..are u serious? Why have a kayak on the property if it cant be used. Or, dont leave the AC...

"Location was amazing. So peaceful, quiet, and serene. Viewed sunset from deck chairs of our room. Small facility so beach walks not crowded with lots of tourists. Room a little small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious - all so fresh. Secured parking on site. Only suggestion is to make guard gate electronic so aren’t required to get out of car to enter code. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Fenua Maita'i'oa! The room was beautiful, very clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. We especially appreciated having Netflix and Amazon Prime available for relaxing in the evenings. The location was also very convenient...close to a grocery store and easy to get around. The kitchenette setup was perfect with an egg maker, kettle for hot water, fridge, microwave, dishes, and silverware. The cat on the property was absolutely wonderful and...
