"The property is good, the staff is exceptional and the breakfast is solid. But, the EV chargers don’t work and that was part of the reason why I booked this property. You need to scan a QR code to start them, and rhe QR codes are all bleached out by the sun."

"Great sized room. We had the double beds + living room & kitchen. Like it was huge with loads of storage EVERYWHERE! The staff were great, helpful & very kind. I hated the bathroom, the door almost hit the toilet, it was hard to move around that but the shower was massive….i dunno it just wasn’t a well thought out bathroom. The fridge was beside the front door & that bothered me plus the fridge door swung the wrong way. Theres no cooktop but i guess you can go get a hot plate at the front desk?! Beds were ok & the linens were microfibre which bugged me because it’s manmade & doesn’t breathe well. I knew i shoulda brought by own supima cotton. The pool was great & we had it to ourselves most of the week. My son was obsessed with it. "

"The pool was a mess. Kids going on slide and kids swimming on pool; complete hazard. The teen boy watching kids at the pool was rude and condescending. The breakfast was mainly sweets. Price was reasonable but pool staff was a no for me"

"This is a very nice hotel. The reason for my negative review is the staffing and the manager ignoring our calls and expedias calls regarding a promise of a discount they had made. We arrived on time for our check in around 3:30 or so. We were told our room was not ready because they were understaffed and that we need to wait 40-45 minutes. So, we understood and came 2 hours later around 5:30 assuming they had enough time, but our room still wasn’t ready. After informing them we had a place to be by 7:00 they finally upgraded our room and offered a discount for our trouble. Which was great and we were satisfied. But, they ended up charging us $240 for the upgrade which then took a few days for the charge to disappear. We were then told they could not immediately provide us with the promised discount because we booked through Expedia. We were told to call the manager the next day. We did, twice and the manager never returned our messages. We then brought this to Expedia’s attention, they attempted to reach the property and the manager. Again, no reply to Expedia's messages. We never received our promised discount for making us wait for our room. So, the issue is definitely one of trust and honesty coming from the manager at this hotel. Nice place but poor customer service and dishonesty with their promises. You cannot trust what they tell you. I waited a week to write this review because I understand a hotel being understaffed an issues arising. But they lied to us. "
