"First time at Dorothy's but I've stayed at her sister location so I know the owner/management and what to expect. Great location and the building is kept up very well. My only non happy comment was no dresser in this room. Its ok since this visit was just me. Being able to use a full kitchen and store food in the refrigerator is a major plus"

"This is a great hotel !I would definitely stay here again . The area is SO nice . Just a 10 minute walk to the lake so peaceful. We walked to some nice breakfast places. The hotel has a list of restaurants that came in handy . You can park in front of the hotel for 15 minutes for dropping off or picking up your luggage and the parking garage is around the block .The rooms are very comfortable. "Really reasonable walk to Wrigley Field, lake Michigan and quite a few restaurants. The neighborhood is clean (other than construction close by). The room was very comfortable."

"everything went smoothly , only thing would be there is no check in desk or staff.. from what i noticed also no early check in what so ever which was a bummer since i had an early flight. everything else was perfect, i think this is great for a small stay , the train station is nearby and some great easy restaurants. shared restroom. room was small but mighty."

"Hotel Lincoln is very dated and overpriced. It is a joke that they charge you a destination fee on top of the already expensive prices. The carpets in the rooms are very old and nasty. "

"Gina and staff were warm and friendly. When our toilet clogged, we got upgraded. When we needed a delayed checkout, they accommodated. We had a fire for a cold night and got delicious eggs and crispy bacon for breakfast. Highly recommend for those lovers of all things Italian. "

"Very nice hotel in great condition. Exceptionally clean, surprisingly quiet, very comfortable. The staff were fantastic. Daily free breakfast was okay, but not great. Only downsides: fairly low water pressure in the shower, especially in the morning; heating unit under the window is a little bit loud right next to bed. Overall a great value and would absolutely stay here again. "

"They require a large cash or Venmo deposit which is shady. Took them 2 weeks to send it back minus 15$ to which I got no response to why. Communication sucks and they gave me the wrong room. No apology no adjustment. Nothing."

"The location was excellent and the staff were helpful. Unfortunately, my room was dirty. There was dust everywhere and the pillow cases on my bed were dirty. I was able to find a housekeeper and she immediately came to give me clean sheets and pillow cases. The WiFi wasn't working which was a bit frustrating when phone service was limited inside parts of the building. Despite the minor we enjoyed our stay but unfortunately next trip we will seek other accommodations ."
