"A very nice B&B in a peaceful location and a pub is just a walking distance away! There is a court yard within the compound where one can relax. We enjoyed our one night stay here and enjoyed our full English breakfast. Thank you."

Our bath panel had been severely damaged by water and whilst the aircon cooling worked well it was like having a tractor in the room! "Easy parking"

"Lovely spacious room with milk in a fridge and real coffee bags. Comfy bed and super shower. Breakfast was a help yourself to croissant and butter. Would've been good to have had a more healthy option. Such as fruit and/or yogurt in the fridge. Only issue really was the wifi. Couldn't get the TV to work in the morning, and in th3 evening it dropped out a lot. Other than that it was a very comfortable stay. Thank you."

We finally found a few customers who told us that only member of staff doing front of house was getting ice cream for their daughter. When she appeared we asked about food but was told that the kitchen closed at 2 and that we would need to go out if we were hungry. "Lift out of order. Pool spa out of order. Room and bathroom very tired. Room layout was like something was missing. Bed uncomfortable. Only upside was free water and 2 packets of biscuits."

"We were very well looked after by Shaan & Sef who must be the one prepared our breakfast which was freshly made and ample every morning . The room was clean and spacious enough for us & our dog Rocky. Tumbleweed is a good place to stay for a few days to visit the local attractions, such as Sherwood Forest, nearby. It is a heaven for dog owners and joggers. I jogged with my dog along the Well Lane & The Avenue every morning and walked my dog on the couple of bridal ways nearby in the evening....

"We were put in the annex roof room which had suffered earlier water damage. While we understand that Victorian houses are not the same as today's the stairs were extremely narrow and dangerous, especially when carrying suitcases. The windows also need replacing, the double glazing was a manual effort"
