Lovely property in great location!

Love staying here when visiting the area. It's a great location and peaceful. The rooms are lovely and great views over the river. A stone's throw from the castle and short walk into town. We love walking along to The Navigation too for a little refreshment!

Best in Newark

A quick trip for a getaway to my old home town, the best we've stayed in. Room were immaculate & comfy. Location is spot on, parking is perfect. Close to town & secure. Lovely views. Communication was spot on. Will stay again.

This was a beautiful period property decorated in a modern style. The furniture was lovely and the bed comfy. The shower was more than adequate and the fridge and hot drink making facilities were appreciated. Very clean. Gorgeous location overlooking the loch. Cafes serving breakfast were very close and the town was full of pubs and restaurants. We loved our stay here!

A lovely stay. A beautiful building and immaculate cosy room. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom was huge. A great view of the canal. Right in the centre of Newark and easy to access. Parking is allocated per room and validated via an app...building work was happening so my space wasn't signed, but the builders were really helpful. The outside was in need of a bit of a tidy up, but it is Autumn.

Comfortable and well situated

The room was comfortable, clean and quiet which is all I can ask for when working away from home. The location was lovely, close to the river and the castle and yet conveniently situated for shops, restaurants, public transport and the beautiful market square in Newark. I would go back

Riverside Getaway

We stayed during the August Bank Holiday. Fantastic room, very well decorated with personal touches, and well appointed with plenty of storage and all the mod-cons, very clean and importantly very quiet, in a great location overlooking the lock. A brief walk got us to the park, castle, and the centre of Newark. If we return to Newark, and I’m sure we will, we will be rebooking!

Comfortable stay in great location

A lovely small cottage room (only 4 in premises). I had Room 3 which was clean and functioning. A tower fan fought against 32 degree heat and failed. You could not open a window and thus we cooked in the room. However normally this would be a great stay as the castle is a minute away and the town centre very close. Despite the heat would recommend
