"We have stayed at Laguna Beach House a few times over the years due to its location and price. We will not be staying here again as their management has changed to a nickel/dime hidden cost operation. First off was the $60/night parking fee during checkin. We elected to park elsewhere. Then at checkout we had a $39 charge added for the evening happy hour drinks which we did not participate in. This was not disclosed to us at checkin. "When we checked in we were given probably one of the worst rooms on the small property. Right off the lobby, facing loud PCH, with a tiny window. Room felt claustrophobic. "Good location very close to a lovely beach and park. Covered parking was included in the price Room was very clean and quiet. Our room was upstairs, but the manager was kind enough to help us with our bags. We had some water and treats along with a thank you note in the room on arrival. The beds were very comfortable! Would definitely stay there again!"

"A little confusing on where to park to check in, however was a great stay and perfect place if you want to spend some time at the beach."

"This place is a bit run down and needs some TLC. Several leaks with buckets out to catch the drips. Washer and dryer doesnt clean well or dry well. Electrical outlets dont all work. Bedding is old sometimes stained. This place could use some updates. Needs consistent fruit selections at breakfast as well as bagels."
