"Oh boy...I greatly dislike writing negative reviews. While Chemainus is adorable, the location is fantastic and the exterior is a dream...this aint it. Mouldy drapes, a number of amenities were broken (electric fireplace, mouldy fridge), no wifi, questionably clean bedsheets. And (I have photos as proof) a white substance residue left on the counter next to the bed. I will say that the indoor jet tub was amazing! I swear I heard a cough below us at one point and noticed a little door that looked...

"Terrible. Would not recommend. Booked a deluxe 2 bedroom they gave us a 1 bedroom told me that is what I booked I have the reservation details in front of me and it clearly says 2 bedroom deluxe villa. The manager talked over me and was not very nice. I would not stay at this hotel "

"The location itself was the draw to this resort, and it was worth the effort to get there. We found the area to be very relaxing and tranquil. There was only one night with some excessive noise by a neighboring cottage. Otherwise, it felt like we were there alone for most of the time we spent at the resort. "The room was clean and tidy, comfy bed, great view and friendly staff. You can tell there has been recent renovations done to the hotel with an on-site restaurant. A little noisy in the evening due to music being played in the restaurant but only lasted till 10pm. Hotel was very close to the town of Ganges (5min walk) and the Saturday market was a hit!"

"Staff and cleanliness were fantastic. They actually had a nice place to get water coffee tea and treats at all times which was so lovely. Also had a lounge to have Sherry with other guests from 5-7. Locations was great little extras they supplied was appreciated. Nice stay. The only thing I would say is you can hear other guests although everyone was respectful.
