"This hotel had a great location near the ferry and bus station. and welcoming staff. I had a single room, which was very small but adequate. It would’ve been nice to have a shelf by the sink or in the shower for toiletries. No place to put soap or shampoo. Something so simple would’ve made my stay so much better."

"This hotel is quintessentially British. It’s a in a perfect location for the new forest. We were a family of the 3. 2 adults and a 16 great old. The room Was on the ground floor (135) great location within the hotel. Until the evening when we were kept awake for 2 nights by the guests upstiars! You have to make allowances for creaks and noises as it’s an old building but blimey I thought people were going to come through the ceiling. They obviously had a young child above us which was not ideal. And our bed was horrendous. It was like laying on the bed base. But apart from Those 2 things hotel was lovely. The grounds were beautiful and the staff were super friendly and the whole place was lovey and clean."
