"Lovely one night stay in this characterful, olde worlde pub, which has undergone recent refurbishment in a very sympathetic manner, therefore the pub itself, rooms & bathrooms are modern with lovely decor. We received a very warm welcome and all the staff we met were very helpful & accommodating. Rooms are accessed via a separate entrance (due to age of the property steps & paths are a little uneven in places) Very clean & spacious (our shower was huge) with lovely sea views. Well stocked...
"We had a lovely stay at Chequers Inn the staff were very friendly & helpful. The breakfast & evening menus were great & all the food was lovely.
The bedroom was large as well as the bathroom the little touches of supplies in the bathroom were great, as was the lovely biscuits & tea supplies in the bedroom.

"The hotel and the grounds were stunning. Every single member of staff (I talk to everyone) was wonderful; so helpful and friendly. The outdoor heated pool was delightful. No air con or fan in the room wasn’t great but the windows did open wide so that helped, although we were on the ground floor and by the road so cars going past was a bit noisy. Noise from the rooms upstairs was a lot. But, overall, our stay was really lovely and I’d definitely stay again. "
