"The hotel was clean, but not very quiet. Noise from the hallway and next door rooms was quite audible. Not that people were loud, the walls must be rather thin. "

"Staff entered my room without permission and without knocking. Just because hotel staff have keys does not mean they can enter a guest’s room whenever they want. Guest privacy should be a top priority for any hotel, and this behavior was completely unacceptable. In addition, I am still trying to receive the $150 USD cash deposit that I paid at check-in. When I went to check out, no staff member was available. I was told that if I wanted my refund, I should leave the key inside the room and wait until 8:00 AM for the office to open. This makes no sense. Guests may need to check out early, especially if they have other travel plans or bookings during the night or early morning. Hotels should have staff available to process check-outs and return deposits when guests leave. We could not wait until 8:00 AM because we had another trip planned. It was very frustrating that no one was available to assist us or return the deposit at that time. Overall, the lack of respect for guest privacy and the poor handling of the deposit refund made this a very disappointing experience."

"Good location, lock on door inoperable(had to use deadbolt).I travel a lot throughout the East and Midwest. I like to stay in family owned ,low key properties. Just didn't see this as a $175 a nite property. (overpriced by @$50 for a week day with only two other units occupied)"

"Clean, but HEAVY smell of cleaning fluids, and I’m not usually sensitive about odors. Breakfast area has ONE table, an odd odor, and was VERY minimal with prepackaged danish, communal pack of cream cheese to serve from, no peanut butter, really cheap package of white bread and really cheap white bagels. "
