"Stayed one night as a family before heading to airport. Rooms a little tired but clean and very spacious. Comfortable beds and quiet. There was an event on when we stayed and when we walked to our room I was very worried we'd hear it in our room but heard absolutely nothing. Staff were exceptional and great with the children. Swimming pool which was great too. We would definitely stay again. "

"We booked here very last minute when there were limited options and beyond pleasantly surprised and would stay again. Very friendly and helpful staff, easy check-in and check-out, convenient location to get around Edinburgh (we walked to a gig in Queen's Hall), next door to Waverley but sound proof/ not loud outside, and we also managed to nab an overnight parking spot outside (free after 6.30 Saturday until 12.30 Sunday, ticketed otherwise). "Nice hotel, we had a feature bedroom which was spacious and comfortable although it really needs handrails in the bathroom to get out of the narrow bath!. Guests can use the facilities including the pool at the sister Peebles Hydro hotel about 2 minutes drive away. Handy for walking into Peebles high street and the river walks. Good choice of meals in the bar which were reasonably priced and excellent."
