Overall, this is a nice hotel with comfortable rooms and a fun, friendly feel. The lobby area is basically a bar with one section set aside for the reception desk, so it can get busy and noisy here, but it is funky and has space for breakfast. The cost of onstreet local parking and overnight charges are steep . Remember to check otherwise its an expensive ticket. Several cars next to me got fined for a £1charge .

Newport is a lively town and still full of pubs and shops for a good look round. More cars than i remember as most places are nowadays but on the whole stil holds its charm and access to whole island
