Hotel feels a little tired. Could use some new towels and pillows etc. Was far from the worst place I’ve ever stayed but not the best either. Location was fairly decent, 10 min walk to a subway station to just about anywhere you’d need to go.

Nice property, great staff and the room was excellent. The location was good too. Lots of food/restaurants near by but it was a bit of a walk from the subway stations. Some other cool things, you get a beautiful view of the Manhattan Bridge right when you step outside (Brooklyn Bridge is also like a 15 minute walk away), Barclays Center is right down the road, and along with some shopping centers.

The staff was nice. The place its self was nice, but a little run down. A little more wear and tear than other hotels I’ve stayed in scuffs on the wall, dents in the furniture. Nothing that affected my stay but it was a little disappointing for the price I paid. Room was also a lot smaller than expected! Also note when the subway went by the building shook a bit, however I found it slightly comforting, others may not.

Room was large! Very clean. It’s old but revamped to be a “hip” boutique hotel. Nice roof top sitting area on the 2nd floor though it’s not high overlooking the city. Small bar there and small cafe inside. It’s a hike if you are walking but it’s near Brooklyn Park, Dumbo area which is fantastic. We took a taxi since we are 60+ We walked to The Italian eatery Botte which was good but not much else in walking distance if you are older.

The hotel was in a good location, the room was clean, the beds were clean, however there was no ice machine, the microwave was in the lobby on the side, the telephone didn’t work, there was an iron in the room but no ironing board, the staff was horrible Yvette and Emily assigned wrong rooms regarding payment and they assigned a guest a room that someone was already in. If you can stay somewhere else please do because the staff was horrible in checking guest in and out.
