My stay at the Shoreham Hotel was extremely disappointing. The room was old, musty, and poorly maintained. The carpet was worn and stained, the AC didn’t work at all, and the entire room felt damp and uncomfortable. There was even visible mold in the showers and the sheets were clearly not clean, which was very concerning.
On top of that, there was no “Do Not Disturb” sign, and the cleaning staff barged into my room early in the morning without knocking. This was incredibly intrusive and unacceptable.
Overall, this hotel is in desperate need of renovation. I would not recommend staying here, especially considering the price point and I will never be staying there. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had in New York.
