"Iconic historic hotel in a great location. Stayed 2 nights for a concert at Madison Square Garden. Room was clean and quiet, larger than others we've stayed in the city. Beds were very comfortable. However, the room was somewhat outdated, especially the bathrooms. Neither had vents or fans which made for a moist room after showers. There were also areas where paint was bubbling and peeling. The service of all staff members was outstanding, which made up for the few shortcomings. Overall, a solid 4. We would definitely stay here again."

"Everything was great except my shower curtain rod was not level and straight, so the shower curtain didn't stay closed on either side when showering because it kept sliding to the center of the rod. At least a foot and a half on each side so hard to keep warm in the shower and hard to keep water from going everywhere. Staff was great, clean room and super comfy bed."
