The property is in a truly old home, but they have done a great job to update it and make it comfortable. It has the feel of a hostel, but definitely higher quality than your average hostel. It's a great option for a place to lay your head that is clean and convenient. The porch is amazing is well. Everything works, showers were warm, and everything was clean.
The house and the property is beautiful. The neighborhood is charming and the neighbors are friendly. Close to lovely and delicious restaurants for breakfast and dinner. We loved being there. We will definitely be back
Beautiful property and great, welcoming staff. Property is in a great location. Older property is not well noise insulated. There was some sleep interruptions the first two nights from noisy upstairs neighbors. I would probably give highest rating if staying on second floor.
Loved the room. Easy check in. Shower was very pretty but needed better shower head.

I loved the historic house. The pictures advertised were not of the room I got. A huge cockroach was dying on the floor when I first got in the room (maintenance removed it) . I think If you do allow kids on the property it should be a 1st floor thing. All day and night there was constant front door slams and loud walking or stomping in the room above me. When I arrived I received a text with a list of rules that said to report any issues which I did but received no response. The silverware in the kitchen drawers were dirty even though I did see the cleaning staff on Friday morning.
The pictures on their site do not exist in reality at this B&B if I could attach pictures that we took of how rundown it is, I would. there is no continental breakfast, no maid service. If you need towels or coffee, you go to the cabinet In the hallway and get it yourself. There is no one to check you in. They say they’re going to send an email with the codes, but they don’t until the last minute We asked three times. One review said they charged a $75 cleaning fee. they have changed that to a property fee of $75 on top of your nightly rate.
It was not the hotel I saw on the website and made my reservation. First, the free parking was on the street, and there was no warranty that you would find a parking space late at night. Second, there was no front desk. I received an e-mail with a code number to punch and open the door. Third, there was not an even soul in the house. I felt that I was in a haunting house. Finally, although I hate to be prejudice, I had a feeling that it was not a safe neighborhood. I hope I am wrong, and the people in the area are fantastic and very friendly. The biggest problem was not having anyone on the front desk.

Close to Essentials, Lacking Essentials
House was beautiful. Room looked nice. Very short walk to Bourbon, Frenchman, Jackson Square, as well as really cute shops and cafes, without being in the busy, crowded, and loud areas.
There is no 24 hour service, nor do they really have a front desk of any kind. They were unable to send the code in advance, like they said that they would. We flew across country all day and had to contact hotels.com, as well as call the manager multiple times before we were able to reapond and give us the code. There was no service during the stay and no known place to return dirty towels or garbage. The listing said two twins, but it appeared that it was two twins pushed together to make a larger bed. Water in shower was hard to regulate and was often too hot.
We had extended our stay a day and set up a separate reservation for a different room. Talked with management about making sure that we would recieve the code for the room and they said that we would send it at 11am the morning of. We did not hear from them until we texted after 4pm. We were told that there would be luggage storage. It was a small space under the stairs but it was so full of boxes and other items, that there really wasn't space to put bags.
Second room was bigger (except for bed) and nicer, with updated bathroom and shower. There was no hot water in the shower and maybe 2 minutes of tepid water.
I wouldn't recomend this place, but it mught work for people who the above doesn't bother them.

Not at all what we were let to believe.
Rented to riff raff that was ultra noisy.
Convenient check-in process, not too far from downtown. It's an older property, so there are some structural issues, like the heat not working properly, and some draft issues. But overall, a pleasant stay. I do wish they'd provide an iron

Given the cost, the place needs to be renovated
I have stayed at many hotels in New Orleans, and the neighborhood around this one is quite nice. However, when the bathroom tiles in the hotel or broken, there is no hot water, and the TV does not work, that usually says that they need to Work on the property. Especially for the amount that they’re charging at this time.
The window ac unit was leaking water down the wall of the room and mold was growing on the wall. Chairs were put in front of it, so someone must be aware of the issue.

Place is pretty but problems of an old home. Floors slant, door doesn’t close properly. Parking is hard to find on the crowded street, had to walk a block with our luggage. Only one light in room, the overhead chandelier, not bedside lamp, no clock. Backyard access is confusing, could not find the hot tub. No information left in the room for accessing amenities, I guess you were supposed to figure it out for yourself. Did not feel comfortable walking around neighborhood at night.
This property advertised on the Expedia that they have parking and breakfast included- but there is no parking and no breakfast. They should clearly mention that street parking is available. I was worried that my car might be towed from the street. There is no Front Desk. There is no staff. After three call I got a code with the text message to enter the room. There was no cup to drink coffee.

We were disappointed that there was no breakfast served. We are hoping that the price we paid to stay at this B&B reflects there not being a breakfast. Having a good breakfast was a big part of our decision to stay here. Would have been nice to know up front that no breakfast would be served. Funny that every restaurant in New Orleans was open and this B&B was not serving breakfast because of COVID???
My sister and I booked this B&B based on the reviews we saw online. We arrived in NO and called for their "shuttle service" and were told that they were about to have lunch and would call us back about a pick up. Never got a call back had to take a Lyft. Got to property, no one on site, we had been told we could store our luggage until check in time, but the so called storage area was crammed full of junk so there was no way we could get our luggage in there. Rooms were run down, my bed was hard as a rock and the first morning there was no hot water in my room, we had no access to the kitchen, no breakfast provided, hot tub was not open, etc. We changed hotels after just two nights. Never saw any staff the entire time we were there and when we tried to contact them, either they were very terse with us or we couldn't reach anyone. Terrible experience and would not recommend this property to anyone.
A very nice place close to the French Quarter to walk there and far enough away to be quiet at night. The house is lovely and the ease of entry/check in was really nice. Street parking is available and the neighborhood doesn't have parking restrictions. Love the character of this place.
This is the BEST place I've stayed in for a personal trip. I'd stay here again without any questions. Thank you for making my anniversary trip to New Orleans an unforgettable experience
