Checking in was a smooth process, they offer back parking at $20, but street parking was extremely available and free. The front desk was super sweet during check in and check out. Room was very clean, cute and a great size for me and my husband. Bathroom is huge lol. Hot tub was nice too. We really enjoyed our stay and thought it was a perfect walk away from everything in the French Quarter without having to be directly downtown with all the noise. Would 100% recommend for couples and will be back if we end up in NOLA again!

The young lady at the front desk at arrival was very sweet and super helpful. "Mansions" is quite a stretch. Room was ok, and about what should be expected for the price. Could not log in to the TV to use any of streaming services, which is really strange and annoying. Location to walk down to Bourbon Street was excellent, and the pool and hot tub were super.

The courtyard and pool areas were really nice, cozy and well maintained. The room was amazing- so much space and beautiful ceiling architecture. The rooms ac was perfect. The room stayed comfortable in the heat dome/wave/thing. Would recommend!

TBH, Staying in a 175 year old room is new to me. Usually stick with the trusty old chain hotels but thought I’d step out of the box a bit and try this. Definitely very happy! Place has some cool vibes, room was spacious, amenities were good, staff super friendly and location was awesome. No problems recommending!

The place is really run down, but the room and bathroom were clean. The property is located in two different locations that are across the street and down the block from each other. It makes unloading and loading luggage a slight inconvenience if you’re not staying in the same location as paid parking. That said, parking is gated and secure, but you must reserve ahead of time because it is very limited. Staff was very friendly, patient, and helpful. I really wanted to swim but didn’t end up using the pool because it was located at the other building and I didn’t want to walk up and back down Esplanade Street in a swimsuit and towel.

We loved our stay at Rathbone Mansions in New Orleans. The staff was great and we were well cared for. It was conveniently located to everything we need to be at. Our entire family was in the same area. Our grandchildren especially loved the pool.
