The property is in serious need of REPAIR and remodeling. Staff was courteous. Balcony had a nice view. In good French Quarter location. The pool was a kiddie pool. Rooms cramped. Furniture shoddy. Housekeeping service ‘on demand’ for $10.00 per day. Some or many units are owned on a time share basis. Will not return.

This is a decent place and I would stay here again. It’s a good location for exploring the French Quarter by foot. The rooms are pretty dated but comfortable. Parking is first come first served and on weekends you should plan to park on the lot behind the hotel. It’s $28 a day.

I love this hotel. I will definitely stay here the next time I visit Nola! They have thought of everything. Such a great location, the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable. Although it's at the foot of Frenchman Street (my fave), it was surprisingly quiet. Spent much time on the second floor balcony and there was a beautiful breeze. Thank you, hope to be back in November!

The Hotel de la Monnaie was charming. The room was clean and comfortable. We did have a hard time locating the kitchen utensils, we did find them in the top drawer of the tv stand. The location was great as a home base. Very close to the French Market. Overall it was a great stay.

The location of the property was fantastic for Frenchman Street. We had a two bedroom/one bathroom suite, which was adequate and fine for our Stay. There was also a very nice balcony. The big problem was parking. It is advertised as free parking… One spot per room, subject to availability. I contacted the property two times and was not adequately cautioned that there apparently is not sufficient spots for each room to have one parking spot. Because I had not made prior parking reservations, we paid $120 extra just to park the car during the time period that I thought was going to be free. This was a source of contention for me since it was completely unexpected and I did not plan for it. Be advised. Otherwise, would recommend this place for Location to Frenchman Street and the French market.
