New Forest ponies on the green and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's grave two minutes up the road! Excellent value. Really enjoyed our stay, thanks."

"A nice room if a little on the small side. Lovely staff. The one drawback here is the food. Very expensive and slightly below ‘adequate’. As an example a meat sharing plate was £48 but had a couple of normal sausages, 2 eggs, small bit of chicken and 3 tiny steak chunks. So disappointed by the food that we cancelled our dinner reservation. If you are staying just for the rooms though they a good location. "
