"On arriving, we parked in front of the hotel. There was limited parking at the front, but it also has parking round the side. The entrance hall was quite dark and had a funny smell at first, which later faded. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially May, who served us breakfast. Food and drinks were a bit pricey, but the food was lovely. The room was ok. The window frames have seen better days. It looked like they were rotting. We had a nice view of the grounds, which were lovely....

"The room was okay. Though to be fair clean. The beds were a tad uncomfortable. The bed had a ridge at the side so probably needs a new matress. The pillars were cheap. One was too low and two were too high. The breakfast was of a reasonable standard. Though I doubt whether the sausages were Welsh sausages. Probably cheap sausages from wholesale suppliers. I used to make sausages and these definately werent home made. The buffet was very average. The bread was cheap commercial bread. The...
