Nerja hotel and spa

The hotel was perfect for a holiday, I walked every day. The staff were friendly and the food was very nice. It’s a shame when other people go on holiday and expect British cuisine

Cozy hotel and friendly staff

Positive: Nice and cozy hotel, and very friendly staff. Nice spa and swimming pool as well. Negative: Uncomfortable beds. No food variations in the buffet (the same food every day). The gym is very poorly equipped. It is also quite exhausting to walk back to the hotel from the nearest beach, as it is situated uphill.

Small friendly hotel. Decent size pool and well stocked Sport bar with reasonably priced drinks and food on offer in the bar. In need of some TLC. Small rooms and varied balcony sizes from medium to very tight. Pool area was lovely. Place was very kept to a high standard of cleanliness. Location not great as at far top of Nerja albeit only 25 minute walk downhill to centre. Bit of a climb walking back uphill if you’re not fit. Can always grab a taxi back for around 7 euros. In all decent 3 star reasonably priced boutique hotel

The room was awful!

The room was awful, very small and the bed was extremely noisy when you turned around or just sat on it. The AC made you feel like you were at the ocean since it was very inconsistent in how it was blowing. The balcony was almost none existent and claustrophobically small. The toilet was too close to the wall so I had to sit sideways with my legs, to be able to sit. The restaurant was very hard to find and the staff at the reception didn't think to tell me about it either, so that I nearly missed breakfast the first day. Nice pool area with lots of sunbeds and a quiet area overall. Close to two big supermarkets and not too hard to get to downtown Nerja and Burriana beach. Nothing at the breakfast tasted good, not even the scrambled eggs, everything had an aftertaste of some sort. Even the juice wasn't good. I'm thinking the staff should consider what kind of oil they use to fry everything in so that it doesn't get that kind of aftertaste.

I love that the property had a pool however i was given a room with 3 twin beds for just me for 3 days of stay. The property seemed to be maximum booked while i was there. The spa didn’t have water coming out as shown in the advertisement and the gym was less than satisfactory. The gym had some rusty weights. An old rusty bike with an elliptical that wasn’t in a safe condition for anybody looking to exercise in a gym. The staff were always busy and if you sat in the restaurant side without going to the bar first they don’t even serve you. For the same price range you can get better beds and hotels closer to the beach. I will not be staying there again ever. On my third night there i was told i needed to begin to sleep so other people can sleep. When i was simply on the phone. I wasn’t listening to music or partying as people do. Being an adult and being told to go to sleep by hotel staff where i chose to go and paid be there is unacceptable. Don’t waste your money staying here.

Comfortable, clean stay!

Friendly , lovely hotel. Comfortable stay ( pillows not so comfortable).Very clean . Have spent time on 3 occasions in the past and enjoyed . We always feel at ease when cleanliness is of high standard . Although there is always a salad bar food could be looked at and cater for vegetarians too .On this occasion no evening meal menus available beforehand to view. Glad that tv at night has more channels. In house entertainment not so exciting!

I can’t fault the exterior side of the hotel, pool , the rooms are tired , out towel rail is on the floor,the toilet flusher is just about on, the double plug for tv and fridge is hanging of the wall, but curiously we have a kettle and stirrer but was told you bring your own tea/coffee!! Strange

The hotel is dated . But it’s very clean Beds comfy . Pool small . Cosy . Biggest gripe is the awful breakfast . Everything tasted awful coffee to eggs , ham to tomatoes , croisssants all stale We could not find anything to eat . Chef needs shooting . He’s going to ruin a perfectly decent hotel .

Our stay here was a bit of a shambles. When we arrived our shower was hanging off the wall. I told reception and they sent someone up to fix it within a few hours which made me wonder why they hadn’t done this before we got there. Just to top it off, we didn’t receive any clean towels for the week we stayed there. I’d just stay somewhere else. We ended up locked out our room when the key cards stopped working. Instead of an apology we were told not to put them next to our phones. They hadn’t been. They were just trying to escape blame for faulty cards. The main issue though, which is quite a big one, was the wardrobe fell apart and the wooden beam across the top fell off onto my arm. Luckily it missed my head by inches but I was in excruciating pain and my arm was visibly swollen. When we told reception about this, the woman seemed concerned however, she simply advised the engineer would be up to fix it. Not once were we offered a room swap or anything. We weren’t out looking for an upgrade but when your room is literally falling apart surely more should be done. We tried to spend as little time as possible in the hotel. Mainly to avoid more injuries!

Los trabajadores de 10. Toda la instalacion esta bien y tienes lo necesario para un alojamiento comodo. Por otro lado un poco antiguas algunas cosas, pero en general muy bien.

La piscina bien,el restaurante reformado con comida variada en el buffet. El colchón un poco duro se notaban los muelles,el personal muy amable,el Spa entraba en el alojamiento fue una agradable sorpresa. Las limpieza no era la mejor y las toallas de las manos estaban algo sucias. Por lo demás la estancia fue agradable y barato.
