Basic but good budget choice

A solid, but bare bones place to stay in Negombo if you’re passing through. The room is spacious and clean, but just the basics. And the hotel is a short walk to the beach, on just on the main road, with a lot of restaurants close by. Not the place you’d want to spend a week, but if you need a no-frills place close to the airport, this does the job.

Nice hotel Great location

We stayed here few times. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is located within walking distance to restaurants and beach. Wifi had problems on some days. The staff tried to do their best to sort this. Overall nice place.

Bra hotell med ok standard, eneste uteplass er takterrassen som kan bli vel varm for frokost eller for mørkt om kvelden. Pluss for gratis adgang til nabohotellets bassengområde og veldig kort vei ned til stranda. Vi avtalte henting på flyplassen ved adkomst, men det skjedde ikke. Det trekker ned.

Kunst in Blue Water Boutique hotel

Prachtig hotel, met fraai ingerichte kamers en schilderijen aan de wanden. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Iedere dag schoonmaak van de kamer en schone handdoeken. Gratis zwemmen in het ernaast gelegen hotel Paradise Beach Club. Ontbijt op het dakterras.

Blue water boutique review

It was not bad just asked for early check in due to early morning flight but they don't allowed. cleanliness is good. One big complain that no exhaust fan in the bathrooms and they are really warm during day time. Met the owner personally and he was a nice gentleman.

Nettes Hotel mit guter Lage

Das Hotel ist optimal um die letzten oder ersten Tage in Sri Lanka zu verbringen. Es liegt fast direkt am Strand (der leider sehr schmutzig und ungeeignet zum Baden ist -> macht aber nichts, da man den Pool des Nebenhotels inkl. Poolhandtüchern benutzen darf). Es ist sehr sauber, gemütlich, hat eine schöne Dachterrasse auf der man frühstücken kann (leider viele Krähen, die versuchen das Essen zu klauen -> die Mitarbeiter helfen aber um diese zu verscheuchen). Das Personal ist extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit!

Hotellet ligger rett ved elva i Bentota. Ved nabohotellet får du gratis skyss over elva til flotte strender. Fint å sitte på verandaen ved solnedgang.

Nice affordable hotel

Stay was good hotel very clean and modern, good breakfast served on roof top area. Had use of next doors hotel pool at half the price you would pay at Paradise Beach hotel.had coffee and tea making facilities but no fridge but ok for short stay

Ok for one night

This was a one night stay on arrival in Sri Lanka so as to get some rest before moving on. Staff were friendly but seemed slightly disorganized, for example I was asked to sign confirming I would pay, despite having paid in full through Hotels.com (which reception confirmed) staff could not explain the need for this and I refused to sign. Also only one breakfast arrived at our room next morning (an oversight I'm sure but I ended up going without breakfast as we didn't have time to wait for another to be prepared) The room was fine, clean and comfortable but we were only given tiny towels and the shower ran cold. An ok stay for one night, reasonable price for peak season.

Convenient and clean hotel.

it is a nice and clean stay by the negombo beach. We celebrated new years eve there with a perfectly good crowd on the beach with a bonfire and tonnes of fireworks. The breakfast could be served a bit better as things get cold even before they reach you.

Nice, clean hotel. Good roof top terrace where breakfast is served. Only downsides: quite loud, doors are thin so every noise from the hallway is heard.

Not clean and make sure you ask for hot water supp

We arrived late in the evening. The check in was fast but found out the room was dated and the couch was dirty. Only two towels were provided and they were very old. They also switched off the hot water supply and we had to clean ourselves with a cold shower after a long flight. The only good thing about the hotel is good breakfast with very nice fruit plate.
