Underbar vistelse

Fantastiskt läge uppe i bergen med underbar utsikt. Värden var superserviceminded och maten mycket god. Lite svårt att hitta men är helt värt mödan! Rekommenderas gladeligen!

séjour agréable et conviviale. mais par contre un accès difficile et pour ceux qui on le vertige s'abstenir. Ainsi que les derniers mettre pour accéder au B and B sont difficiles pour les personnes âgées car il faut monté au moins 50 marchés très dure. sinon le détour vaut la peine.

Vi var forberedt på køreturen op af bjerget via anmeldelserne ...og det var hele turen værd. Så unik en perle og menneskerne der driver den. Her får gæsterne et værtspar, der driver stedet med sjæl og kærlighed. Aldrig har vi følt os så velkommen. Vi kommer helt sikker tilbage. Unikt boende

Fantastiskt boende i Ligurien. Utsikten och personalen är mycket bra. Vägen upp är smal och lite tuff att ta sig igenom men det är absolut värt det. Rummet helt ok och frukost helt ok. Om du meddelar dig kan du få middag på kvällen som var mycket gott. Någon kväll så startades stenugnen och hotellägarna bakade pizza. Mycket trevligt och gott.

Heaven on earth

Ett helt underbart smultronställe med underbart värdpar som drivit stället i 14 år. Ett ställe för lugn och ro och natur. Minus för väldigt många trappsteg upp till hotellet och för mjuka/slitna sängar.

Great b&b but beware of the steps!

Leo and Lou were really friendly, chatty and accommodating. They clearly go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The steps were a bit of a shock for us on arrival as I'm 6 months pregnant and the steps were a bit much with no railing, however, like the other reviews, the view was incredible. When we mentioned to Leo about the steps he did offer to pick me up after our day trips which was very nice of him but I didn't want to make a fuss! The room was really clean but we lacked privacy in the room we had as it opened out onto the terrace meaning the bathroom shutters remained closed for the duration of our stay making it very dark, and people sat on the bench directly outside of our bedroom window to get wifi and the view. There was no tea and coffee making facilities in our room, no full length mirror and no shelf in the shower for shampoo etc which is a little more difficult with a bump!! If we were to return, we would opt for different room despite the fact it probably has the best view! :-) My husband found the cats a bit much! This place is great if you want a quiet get away. It's seems like it attracts like-minded people, everyone was very friendly and polite. There was no TV in the room but plenty of books to read. We would recommend a drive to Sestre Levante for both evening and day. It's a 30 minute drive but well worth it. We also had a lovely lunch at Vera Napoli in Chiavari - definitely a must!

Mountain gem

Fantastic place in the mountains. Very friendly hosts, delicious breakfast at terrace with astonishing view, cosy and clean room. Overall great experience. We recommend it to anyone travelling to Tuscany, if you like the atmosphere of mountain, vineyards, tranquility and an exciting drive on small winding roads. Kim and Lotte, Denmark

This is a really amazing place. The view is stunning, Lu and Leo are really friendly, the kids loved the pool and the cats. The room was nice. We will for sure come back to Farmhouse Castagnola 64!

Mer et montagne

site magnifique calme où on a pas l'impression d'être à moins de 15km de la mer. les hôtes qui vous reçoivent sont vraiment très gentil et accueillant et vous servent le matin un bon petit déjeuner pour bien attaquer la journée. Attention ne pas suivre votre GPS sinon vous êtes perdu.

Quiet and relaxing

We had a wonderful time at Farmhouse Castagnola! The road up to the house is indeed a bit scary, especially when you have a cheap and weak rental car (although it is a good thing to have a small car up here), but once you're up the view is stunning. Because of the tricky road it's therefore a good idea to shop for food (if you want for lunch and such) before you get up to the house. Lu and Leo were very nice and accommodating and made us a very nice dinner the night we arrived. The nature around the house is beautiful and vivid, and full of rare butterflies! Down the hill there's a very good restaurant where we ate the second night, it took us about 25 minutes to walk there. The walk home was lit up by fireflies! This place is perfect for a quiet (except for the occasional barking dog) and relaxing vacation, we spent our two nights here reading by the pool and taking walks in the area. Next time we will definitely stay longer and hopefully conquer the road so we can do day trips with the car!

Ubeskrivelig fantastisk plass

Ubeskrivelig opplevelse! Ganske skummelt å kjøre opp til Farmhouse B&B, men vel oppe var det verdt adrenalinet. Enda mer sjarmerende og spektakulært enn det man kan se på hotels.com. Veldig hyggelig betjening og en plass jeg aldri vil glemme!

Nous avons passé dix journées agréables dans cet hôtel original. Situé en retrait de la côte, il s'accroche aux pentes montagneuses et la route pour y accéder est étroite et escarpée. Le couple d'hôteliers est sympathique et leur accueil est très cordial.

Für unsere Durchreise von Italien nach Frankreich wählten wir Castagnola 64 - und sind restlos begeistert ! Die Strecke zum Farmhaus ist für jeden halbwegs fähigen Autofahrer leicht zu meistern. Belohnt wird man mit einer einzigartigen Location. Die Gastgeber haben sich fantastisch um uns gekümmert, die Atmosphäre kann als familär bezeichnet werden. So waren auch sowohl Abendessen als auch das Frühstück sehr lecker und mit viel Liebe und Verstand zubereitet.

Hôtel très très éloigné de tout. Perdu dans les collines, les deux derniers kms même plus de route : un simple sentier très étroit. calme car en pleine nature si c'est ce que vous rechercher. Si comme nous vous vouliez visiter la Rivièra : beaucoup de route (environ 30mn par autoroute pour aller à Santa Margueritta). Attention nos hôtes parlent à peine français mieux vaut avoir un bon niveau d'anglais ou italien. Attention pas de repas le soir il faut penser à tout prévoir avant votre retour à l'hôtel car une fois arrivé, on a pas envie de reprendre la route le soir!!!! côté piscine: elle n'est pas entretenue d'où une déception des enfants. Pour le même prix on peut trouver beaucoup mieux ailleurs et plus près de la civilisation.

Accueil peu chaleureux, Sourire très forcé de la propriétaire C'est dommage car le lieu est très agréable Du coup, on était soulagé de poursuivre nos vacances ailleurs Le séjour de 4 nuits était trop long, 2 nuits suffisent amplement car le lieu est difficilement accessible et éloigné des principaux sites touristiques du coins

wir waren nur eine Nacht dort. jedoch kommt man an und man kann sofort entspannen. der weg hoch ist zwar lange, steil und es gibt kaum ausweichmöglichkeiten bei Gegenverkehr, aber es lohnt sich. man parkt unten und läuft über eine treppe durch weinberge bis zum haus (der hausherr holt das gepäck mit seinem geländewagen). uns bot man zuerst einen wein aufs haus an und man konnte die aussicht auf der terasse geniesen. 5 Katzen und ein schüchterner Hund gehören auch dazu. Beide sprechen sehr gutes Englisch, da sie Britin ist. für 40€ für 2 Personen bekam man ein exzellentes 3-gänge-menü und eine flasche wein zu Abend. das Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich. stellenweise kam kein Wasser aber dann hat man einfach eine halbe stunde später geduscht. 7 Zimmer hielten die atmosphäre persönlich.
