"Loved our stay in a 2 bed apartment in Braid apartments. Beds so comfortable that I didn’t want to leave ! Great welcome basket with some breakfast items were waiting for us on arrival. 2 bathrooms with showers in each and great heat throughout the apartment. Super place to be based as so close to princes street and main sites. Staff very helpful before arrival and provided information when it was needed. We arrived around 8pm and it was easy to access with the provided code which was emailed...

"Lovely stay. Great view. Apartment was clean and tidy. Fully kitted out kitchen. Very spacious. The only 2 things was the mattress could do with replacing on bed. It slopes inwards when slept in and could do with blackout curtains as it’s very light when curtains are drawn. Would still stay again. "

"No staff, which is fine with me. Easy entry, spacious, clean, excellent location. Apartment basically with good view of the Christmas market. One note on the Attic Flat, have light luggage and be pretty fit. No lift and impressive staircase to get in. Was excellent."

"We only stayed for 2 nights, I'd booked as a surprise for my wife, and it turned out to be all I wanted and a whole lot more. Really nice hotel, a short walk from Princes Street and the tram stop, so very convenient but also very quiet too. The room was comfortable and well equipped, the food was very, very nice, we ended up eating there 3 times - as well as breakfast every morning which was also really good - such a varied number of options, deciding what to have was very difficult!! "Actually, we were not able to stay. I did climb the 30 steps to get to the apartment, and it was a very nice place. 40 years ago, it would have been suitable for my wife and I. It would be better suited to younger travelers since all bags have to be carried up the steps. However, I cannot fault the owners because I did not pay close enough attention to the description"

"Best apartment! Highlight was the beds. Haven’t slept that well in a while. Even overslept, (not saying you should) check out time is 11 but thank goodness nobody shoved us out. Apartment has everything you need. Good hot showers, heating was spot on. Laundry was outside and fantastic big dryers. Would stay here anytime as its location is superb as well. Only downside is no lifts. "
