"Room was clean, smelled a little musty. Balcony was very worn (wood). But the checkout staff was extremely rude this am. Other than that , decent for the $."

"charming, beautiful historic building staff very helpful. view amazing restaurant and bar very good hotel rooms are probably newer, We were in the main bldg over the kitchen and lovely but a basic room."

"I booked a King Room handicap accessable 2 months ago. When we arrived at the property, I was told that the only room that was available 2 Queens no. Handicap accessable because they had booked 2 accommodations for 2 wedding parties and there was nothing they could do for me. I made my displeasure known and was then asked to park behind the building to allow for more wedding party parking. I tried calling Mariott and they said that nothing could be done for me because I booked through Expedia...

"Great staff that was very helpful. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Breakfast had a nice variety"

"Shower was not functioning, room changed and that shower was not functioning. Manager Fredric was condescending and told Expedia shower was functioning just not correctly…, what the heck!!! Instead of apologizing he was very confrontational!!! Hopefully will get refund in 10 days??? Never stay at this property!!! Horrible!"

"We booked our Hotel through Expedia 2 months in advance and yet when we got there to check in, and it was very late, our room was not available. They put us in a room with 2 single beds rather than the King size that we booked. The only room that they had left was the handicapped room which was an inconvenience for us. We asked for a manager and of course no one was available and they said they would have someone talk to us before checkout but they did not. The next day while we were traveling...

"The rooms were clean, simple, and basic, but cute and quaint. There was no refrigerator, microwave, or coffee maker in the room, so the amenities were pretty minimal. Most of the staff were friendly, and the location was a definite plus being within close proximity to just about everything. Overall, a charming place if you're looking for something simple and conveniently located."

"Excellent as always"

"booked a room in the main building was put in the back building most outlets in room did not work no lamps or light in front room only in bedroom and bathroom ... to use sundeck or pool we would need to leave our building and walk over to the building they i reserved .. bathroom door was falling apart due to water damage"

"Very clean and welcoming hotel. Room and beds were comfortable. Breakfast offered a good variety. It’s so nice to have ample free parking as well! Staff were really friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!!"

"After checking in and going to the room we noticed the TV was not in working order. When we called the desk we were told “oh yea.. so… there is an issue with the TV service in almost all rooms and nothing I can do to help you” we were told to speak to the manager in the morning to get what we were promised a $25 credit to be told they could not. Buyer beware !! We should have been told this prior to even giving my card to complete the process"

"What a wonderful stay, everything up to par, glad we found it."

"We stayed at this hotel so we could be near my son as it was parents weekend at URI. Lovely grounds and definitely a winery feel to it. Check in and out was simple. Our Room was Lovely... but just a few things could be improved on..expensive hotel so I suppose I expected more... the was a wedding going on so there was loud music until approx. 11pm with lots of guests returning to their rooms making alot of noise. No coffee machine in the room. In our room the bathroom sink had no area to place...
