"I stayed here for 4 weeks between 2 trips to Everest Base Camp. It was a perfect base for exploring the surrounding Khumbu region and Namche village. My hosts were friendly and went out of their way to make sure I was well fed, cared for and recovering from my adventures. The rooms were clean, the food great and atmosphere welcoming. I hope to return one day and stay there again."

They’re nice people and the tea house is similar to others on the Gokyo Trek, but they should not be advertising it as a 3* hotel with private bathroom on Expedia."
