"The room was lovely and spacious with a good shower. The pool was clean and big. The beach area and bar were also nice. When arriving and walking through the resort some of the communal areas could use some TLC but the main features are well kept. Good location for the beach and under a 200 baht taxi to Saladan pier. "

"The Royal Lanta is a wonderful resort with friendly staff, beautiful lush green grounds and gardens and is beachfront. The breakfast was great and served at the beachside restaurant. The location was also great and walking distance to other restaurants and the main road where there were convenient stores. The vibe was calm but lively. We really enjoyed our stay there! "

"My husband and I stayed here during our last week of our Thailand vacation, and we can't complement it enough. Our room was nice, and looked just like the photos online. It was very comfortable. The resort itself has was lovely, with a nice beach front. The restaurants served good food. The staff was very polite and professional. The beach front was clean, with plenty of options for seating or lounging. We took advantage of the spa services, which we highly recommend. Because we were at the end of our trip, we had no interest in doing anything but hang out at the resort. BUT, when we did venture out, we found it was perfect location, near a lot of good restaurants. I highly recommend this resort."

"The room was very basic. Shampoo quality was a low standard and no conditioner at all. Staff was very friendly. The quality of the breakfast buffet was below similar prized hotels we stayed in in Thailand. No artificial sweeteners at all. First hotel ever that did not have any."
