"Exceptionally friendly and courteous and helpful clerk at the front desk Basic hotel with a necessary amenities and my room actually had a kitchen. Some decent restaurants next door, but it’s about a 40 minute walk or a five minute taxi ride to the waterfront. Overall a good budget option. There doesn’t seem to be any middle range properties here but there are lots of Western branded high-end resorts."

"We were visiting Muscat for a week and we stayed here becuse it is central. That said, Muscat is spread out so any sightseeing stay in the citywill need taxis. This hotel was almost perfect. The chargeable buffets for breakfast and dinner had an outstanding variety of excellent food. The staff were always friendly and efficient. The beds were extremely comfortable. The pool was large and not busy. The only down side was the lack of local amenities. We did not find any restaurants...

"The room is spacious. The location is not bad, but be aware that you cannot order regular taxi coming to pick up from the hotel. You have to walk out if you want to get a cheaper taxi (instead of a luxury type). "

"I paid for a business club room as I wanted the space as we were travelling a while and had big suitcases - turns out the business rooms are the same as a standard room, despite it saying could sleep 3, there is no way it could sleep 3, but with a business room you're on the 6th floor. It's not like there's skyrise buildings you need better views from or of.
