We had a great stay as a family of 4. Excellent service all round. Breakfast very good, on-site restaurants also good and there are more food options within walking distance. The pools are lovely. The concierge and staff were brilliant, can't do enough for you. We used the salon and gym, both great. The 2 things i would improve - kids club was very basic with no activities organised, and the kids pool could have been heated.

Intercontinental Muscat made us genuinely feel cared for. From the moment we arrived, there was a calmness and warmth and warmth to the hotel that stayed with us throughout the entire visit. The property itself is beautifully designed in a way that feels deeply connected to Omani elegance. Traditional without feeling outdated, refined. Everything felt intentional: the architecture, the atmosphere, the gardens, the cleanliness, the quietness. A true sense of quiet luxury. What we will remember most is the staff’s hospitality. Breakfast each morning (we stayed 12 nights) became more than just breakfast. It became one of the highlights of our stay because of the hospitality and attention we experienced every single day.

Great stay here. Room was always spotless. Good location for the beach. Only feedback would be us that both the breakfast staff and pool area staff could be a little more tentative.
