"The La An is a wee oasis in what can be a very busy Hoi An - especially if you are there at the same time as us (New Year). Hoi An can be super busy so it is great to have a place like the La An to retreat to. Anna, the hostess is lovely, very knowledgeable and friendly. She recommended the Memories of Hoi An show - unbelievably brilliant - if you go to Hoi An you must visit this - a fantastic spectacle that we only heard of through Anna. "This hotel is perfectly located within 3 minutes’ walk of the old town. It’s set back from the main row at the front and has spacious grounds with a good sized swimming pool. There’s a good restaurant on site, and a pool-side bar which also serves food. The rooms are clean, spacious and light, with the best ones overlooking the pool and garden. Those overlooking the road at the back can be a bit noisy. Staff are very friendly and helpful, giving lots of information about the town when you arrive. Laundry was reasonably priced and efficient. There is a very good choice of food for breakfast, catering to both Asian and western tastes. There’s also a small gym, and a book swap. "

"The hotel has a good classic taste, and the room was clean and quiet. The building looks classic in style, but amenities are modern. Staff members are friendly and helpful, especially Ms Mica assisted us for bookings, and Ruby looked after us well while we stayed. It was very good to have a good restaurant and spa at the hotel as well. The hotel is close to the old town. We extended our stay because it was so comfortable, and we would love to come back sooner."
