"Breakfast was exceptional as were the staff"

"I was looking for a special hotel as a wedding anniversary treat for my husband, Electra Metropolis, did not disappoint. Prior to arrival l contacted the hotel to request an airport transfer and mentioned that it was our wedding anniversary. I received a prompt and professional response with details of our transfer. First impressions of the hotel were excellent a smart doorman at the entrance a friendly greeting by the porter and a smooth check in by Alexia, as it turns out she also checked us out. Our room 506 was clean and spacious positioned on the front of the building. The outlook was to building works and some street noise could be heard in the room. Neither of which bothered us but some guests may not like that. A few hours after check in we returned to find a note in our room asking us to call reception. Imagine our surprise when we were brought a delicious heart shaped pudding and a bottle of prosecco. A gift in recognition of our special occasion, very much appreciated. We only had one day of sunshine so took advantage of the swimming pool area, a nice bonus in a city location. The views of the Acropolis on the roof terrace are a real highlight. Breakfast is plentiful and varied, we really enjoyed it along with superb service from everyone especially, Effiticia and Nicursor. All in all the experience was faultless, a great location, well maintained building and staff who take pride in there hotel and the service they deliver. Thank you 😊"

"Hotel is located right in the heart of the city centre within walking distance to most. 8th floor restaurant was great for breakfast and evening drinks and dinner. Parking is tricky but the staff are very helpful. I would recommend and stay again."

"Great location. Easy check in and communication with host. A negative for us was one large towel one hand towel per person and one pillow per person. When we reached out to request additional we were quoted a fee for extra towels or given the option to do laundry to wash the towels. No extra dish towels ( just one provided). A sign posted said garbage to be disposed of across the road. We wandered around a parking garage looking for it until a lovely gentleman sent us on the right path. Better instructions would be helpful. The kitchen sink stopper was broken so the sink wouldn’t hold water, a minor inconvenience, but an inconvenience just the same. Overall, a good experience."
