We chose to stay at Moxy because it was conveniently located from the Olympia Park where we attended a music festival. However, I wish I had read some of the reviews more thoroughly. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable for us. They almost feel like they were of overblown air mattress quality. I had read a past review after we checked in that complained similarly…however some people seem to think the beds are comfortable. The hotel has a very trendy lobby and the atmosphere is pleasant and very thoughtfully/cutely decorated. If all you need is the bare bones in your room—this can be a great option. In the future I would stay elsewhere on account of the bed quality. We did appreciate the free coffee downstairs though (plus to go cups) and the staff were very friendly!
Also side note, if you’re traveling as a couple…make sure you’re comfortable with the toilet being just a couple meters away from the bed! The sliding door is thin!
Overall, Moxy is convenient and trendy but for anyone who values their quality of sleep…bring your own pillow or stay elsewhere.
