Location was great in central Munich, access to public transport, grocery stores, restaurants, cafes, sight seeing.
Property was great!
Staff was superb.
Rooms were very clean and comfortable.
Breakfast for Vegetarians was good as Continental breakfast was provided.
Would definelty stay again if we are in Munich again!
The reception was outstanding and was so helpful and I could checkin 4 hours earlier although I wanted to store the suitcase first. The breakfast is really plentiful and so delicious and the service staff so nice and helpful. A splendid experience throughout. I can highly recommend this hotel
We were only staying in Munich one night after flying in and on our way to Berchtesgaden.
We arrived around midnight. The member of staff was very friendly and gave us a couple of bottles of water. The room was large, clean with excellent amenities. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious!
The location was perfect for a short stay. I would highly recommend this hotel
We always stay here when we come to Munich. The rooms are always clean. The bed is comfy with nice linens.
Our only disappointment was with our check- in. Sunday September 20th after 4 o'clock. The lady who was at the desk was unfriendly. She appeared annoyed to check us in. Made us feel unwelcomed.
Fab hotel, very near the train station, comfy beds, great breakfast.
No Aircon and our room was roasting, they'd given us a fab but it was weak and there was a ceiling fan.
Absolutely lovely hotel though, with nice staff.
The rooms are clean and large enough for a couple. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good. However the room did not have an air conditioner but a fan. It would been nice to have a coffee maker or kettle in the room.

Friendly and helpful staff, good location near main station, secure property. Somewhat noisy due to other guests, you could hear noise from other guests easily.
We booked this hotel for convenience as it was close to the train station, and by the time we were arriving into the city and our plans we weren't going to need the hotel for too long each day. Receptionist was friendly and check in was smooth, however the hotel is very dated and probably hasn't had any upgrades for 30+ years. The room had 2 single beds. No Air conditioning which in the heat of the summer is ludicrous. There is a fan, which was no good to man nor beast, we opened the windows and there was noise all night. Bathroom facilities were bang average. Would have given 2.5. out of 5, but as there's no halves its a 2. Wouldn't recommend nor would i return.
I have been coming to this hotel every year (apart from Covid years) since 2009. It is a perfectly good 3 star hotel. It would probably rate a 4 star if it had air con. But the ceiling fans do a good job keeping the rooms cool.
I am 85 years old with mobility problems. The location is ideal for me - the main railway station is opposite and there is a tram stop directly outside the hotel. It's only 4 tram stops - a ten minute journey - to Marienplatz in the heart of the city. It's an easy walking distance for most people.
The area can be very noisy with a busy road and a backpacker hostel nearby where youngsters like to congregate after midnight. So guests susceptible to noise should book an inside courtyard room during hot weather when they might need to open a window. The front rooms are quiet when the windows are closed.
The cheapest single rooms are basic but adequate. Anyone needing a walk-in-shower should mention it when booking.
The worst thing about this hotel is the breakfast. The food is ok - the usual fare. But they don't serve black coffee! German coffee is usually good. This stuff comes from a machine and the milk is premixed. I tried the tea. A good choice of teabags but no boiling water - just warm water. A disgusting brew. Warm water is ok for coffee but we British expect our tea to be hot.
I will certainly use this hotel again - but I will avoid the breakfast. There's plenty of other cafes nearby where you can get a decent cup of black coffee.
Nice hotel, great location. Breakfast was excellent, staff were friendly and helpful. Only downside was we visited in July and the fans in rooms weren't enough against extreme heat, although they had put an ac unit in room it was too loud to use at night
Upon arrival I was told there were no rooms and I would have to go to another hotel, it took close to 10 mins for the receptionist to even ask my name, at which point she was able to find my booking. It's worth noting, it was only whan I pointed out that I had made a booking for 5 nights that she even bothered to check.we witnessed other people have the same issue during our time there.rooms are alright. No drink making facilities were available in the room.towels are really small and could do with being refreshed
