The staff was fantastic!! Everyday they greeted me with smiles and helped me with every question I had. The cafe is perfect and the room was clean and comfortable. Definitely stay here again!!

Für ein oder zwei Nächte empfehlenswert

Verbrachte dort zwei Nächte. Das Bett war nicht zu hart und nicht zu weich. Also so wie es sein soll. Es war aber leider kein Spannleintuch sondern was man einschlagen muss. Das machte das Ganze etwas unangenehm und mühsam. An dem Tag, wo ich ausschlafen wollte, wurde leider am frühen Morgen schon gebohrt. Das war etwas lästig. Im Bad waren Pfleprodukte, die das Hotel stellte und einen Föhn gab es auch. Das fand ich sehr angenehm. Zum Frühstück kann ich nichts sagen, da ich auswärts aß. Das Service an der Rezeption war sehr angenehm. Sie waren sehr bemüht um den Gast gleich zu helfen. Das was ich leider etwas mühsam fand war, dass man den Zimmerschlüssel mitnehmen musste, wenn man erst nach 22 Uhr wieder ins Haus kam. Dafür wären Zimmerkarten idealer und handlicher. Die Lage war sehr ideal. Nicht zu weit drin im Geschehen und nicht zu weit weg. Für ein oder zwei Nächte absolut empfehlenswert.

Hotel Frontdesk wasn’t very helpful when we asked about public parking because they wanted us to pay for their garage overnight price which was double the street parking cost. They gave us a key and we go up to our room only to find other people suitcases and things all over the room which kinda lets me think its not a very safe hotel. We then got our room switched to a smaller room. During the night there was a very loud knocking noise that sounded more mechanical that our neighbors. This knocking went on for a good portion of the night which we didn’t get much sleep at all. We told concierge in the morning and the just said oh well that’s too bad. This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

Costly for a cheap hotel

The door to the room was broken on the inside, and the room seemed old and not kept up. If you leave the window open, you'll smell cigarettes...guaranteed. I have never disliked a hotel more (in Germany) than this one. It's only close asset is the Ostbahnhof. Not a nice stay for too much money.

Very comfortable! Well-kept and not too much street noise. The hotel breakfast was a little pricey - if you're a light eater there are a couple great coffee shops in the area, including one almost right across the street. A bit outside of the main tourist areas but a short walk to the S train to downtown.

High price for a submarine experience

We stayed at Hotel Aurbacher during the Oktoberfest in Munich. We paid $200/night for a double room. However we did not expect the room to be a small for the rate we paid. Granted, this is Oktoberfest but thee bed was against the wall so either my wife or I had to crawl over the other to get out of bed. It wasn’t so much as “Goodnight Dear” as “Down Periscope”. There was also black mold on the grout in the shower. The staff was very helpful though. Our television was working so the night attendant brought in another TV set from another room. Breakfast was 12 Soros/person, which we did not take them up on. All in all, we would not come back, and certainly not at the price we paid.

Müchen muss man einmal im Jahr sehen.

Es war wunderbar, herrliches Wetter. Wunderbarer Ausflug in den englischen Garten und dem chinesischem Turm. Münchner Altstadt erkundet zu Fuß. Zu Fuß auf den Nockherberg. Bier genossen und auch das Essen war hervorragend. Bei der Ankunft stellten wir das Auto in die Garage, wir bewegten, uns fort zu Fuß, Tram oder U-Bahn.

Great place to stau

We had a wonderful time in Munich. The hotel Aurbacher was conveniently located to the buses and subways which made getting around to the sights very easy. There were also restaurants and grocery stores and coffee shops close by. The staff were friendly and informative. We would recommend this hotel !

Decepção

Foi um desastre, desde o check-in, quando uma atendente grosseira nos recebeu. Quarto velho, com carpete que juntava muito pó. O quarto não tem isolamento algum, pois ouvíamos o vizinho roncando a noite toda. Quarto sem condições no verão, pois não tem ar condicionado. Mini-bar não funciona, e ao questionar o atendente ele sugeriu que tirasse da tomada para não esquentar ainda mais o quarto. Para fechar com chave de ouro, no momento do check-out o elevador não estava funcionando, e tivemos que usar as escadas.
