The stay was okay overall however some negatives are: there is no fridge in the room, there are not enough outlets (specifically none beside the pull out couch), and the room felt tight for 4 people making it difficult to find space for luggage. The room was also dark around the pull out couch which makes packing difficult. The in house restaurant was really good and vibey, with good food and great place to hangout late at night. The breakfast was also really good and tasty.

Nice very simple European hotel. Rooms barely had amenities. Whole hotel locks at night & impossible to find doors to get back in correctly. But GREAT location to Oktoberfest - about a 10 minute walk!

At first I was a bit disoriented as you won't find a traditional 'welcome' desk or reception, but the people at the bar were friendly and very helpful. My room was cozy and VERY quiet. I had the best sleep! Breakfast was amazing with great coffee - and I am a coffee snob! Perfect location - just a 15 minute walk to many main attractions. All in all I would stay there again.

Great stay. Everything is kind self check in and out. Reception area is combined with restaurant/bar so if you get there after 6:00 am and before 9 pm you are good. Checking out before 6:00 am you have to do it yourself. Everything else was perfect.

Staff were friendly, a bit further to town than I expected but close to train station so easy to get around the city. Room was fairly clean (quite a few crumbs under the bed) our washer didn’t work despite asking to get it fixed. Our room was not set up for the extra bed and it was a bit of an ordeal to get bedding but the staff did help us in the end. Overall, I would stay again. The breakfast was really good, our room was bigger than expected and we really loved the city of Munich!

We had a wonderful three-night stay at The Cocoon Sendlinger. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our visit. The location was excellent, with easy access to Munich’s attractions and public transportation. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to others visiting Munich.

I loved this hotel. The rooms were quite useful with how they were spaced out. I really liked that the bathroom and shower were separate. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. The location was great for walking to places. The staff was very helpful and kind always. The breakfast was luxurious and worth the money.
